The model
What's free and what's Premium
The whole habit is free forever. What you pay for is depth: history, trends and patterns.
Free forever, and we mean it
The entire habit is free: planning the cycle, splitting into categories, logging what you spend, seeing where you stand and closing out. That's Thrymo working, not a demo with half the app switched off.
And free covers things other apps charge for: setting savings aside and taking them back out, tracking a debt with its payoff projection, exporting everything to JSON or your expenses to CSV, and reviewing your last three closed cycles.
When something falls outside that free window, the app tells you how many results are further back instead of pretending they don't exist. We'd rather you knew what you're missing than not know anything was missing.
What Premium adds
Premium is the depth: your full cycle history instead of the last three, the detail of every closed cycle, how a category trends against its target, and the patterns that only surface after months of logging.
Plus a few comforts that earn their keep over time: measuring a category by the week rather than the cycle, restoring a backup, and encrypting that backup with your own password so you can keep it wherever you like.
Put simply: the habit is the gift, the depth is the product. The habit is what changes your month; the rest is what changes your year.
Stopping doesn't delete anything
If you try Premium and don't continue, your data stays exactly where it was. Paid views blur behind a note; nothing is erased or hidden. Turn it back on and the view is there as it was.
The trial and the prices
Your first install unlocks Premium for 45 days, with no card asked for. When they run out the app settles into the free plan for good: it doesn't charge you and it doesn't take away what you already had.
There's a monthly or yearly subscription and a one-off lifetime option. The prices are on the home page, in the pricing section, and they're the ones the app charges.
